Hi everyone! Since our last reunion, life has been full! I've been on the Central Coast now for 11 plus years after living in Sacramento for all those 57 years. And Yes we are in that club of grandparents who relocated to be closer to the grandbaby (who is now a Freshman at Morro Bay HS). Still working - I’m the Broker-Owner of Central Coast Sotheby’s International Realty—one of only two sole woman-owned Sotheby’s franchises in California (retirement? not in my vocabulary - yet!). Our office is in Cambria, we live in Nipomo, and I have the best commute ever—traveling the SLO County coast along Hwy 1 and 101.
Family is my why of what I do: my oldest Kathryn lives in Los Osos and is Mom to grandson Finn, Carolyn is in Colorado Springs, and Andrew lives in Cambria and works alongside me in real estate operations. My husband Rick and I recently celebrated 21 years of marriage and "our kids together" are our 3 dogs - Lulu, Joey and Arturo :)
Favorite Rio memories? Senior year as a RAette, Friday night games with my girlfriends, and the unforgettable AFS Europe trip that summer after graduation with Mr. Brewer and Alice Huck. And here’s my little life tip—if you want to see your HS bestie all the time, live near her grandchildren and you’ll benefit too. 😉
Looking forward to catching up and hearing everyone’s stories!
Congratulations on finding happiness on the Central Coast! Beautiful area, we've camped at Morro Bay and loved Pismo Beach. Good tip - I'm only allowing my daughter to go to a West Coast college.
