Hi all – Brian, Jim and I gabbed about how fun and interesting it would be to learn about as many of us – and our life journeys – before the reunion since it is naturally so hard to catch up with everyone at large events like that. So we came up with the idea – for those who are game – to post on the website snippets about ourselves that the rest of us can read if we so choose, not to eliminate the need to catch up in person, but to get the conversation going. Since we opened our big mouths on this, we are now supposed to be the first guinea pigs to do this, so here goes just one example to (hopefully!) get the ball rolling:
Drew Liebert: “Perhaps not a total surprise to some of you, my career path led me to being a lawyer working in politics and public policy. I continued to live in Sacramento and led a team of attorneys in the California Legislature for most of my career. I currently am still working, serving at the state’s Privacy Protection Agency board and running a non-profit trying to protect our democracy (as you can see I am doing a terrible job!). I am married to someone who is much better in every way than I am, we have two children and three grandchildren —and one of the biggest shocks in my life is that I am about to attend our 50th high school reunion. How the heck did life go by that quickly – impossible. Hopefully some of you will now add some updates about you! See you soon.
Welcome to the website, Drew!
